Omarion, born Omari Ishmael Grandberry, is an American singer, dancer, songwriter, record producer, and actor, born on November 12, 1984, in Inglewood, California. After beginning his career as part of the R&B group B2K, Omarion embarked on a solo career in 2004 with the release of his first album, O. The album reached number one on the Billboard 200 and produced the singles "O" and "Touch", both of which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Omarion then released his second album, 21, in 2006, which produced the singles "Entre nous" and "Ice Box", both of which charted in the Top 40 of the Hot 100. In 2010, he released his third album, Ollusion, followed in 2011 by his fourth album, M.I.A. (Advanced Intelligent Music). In addition to his music career, Omarion has also appeared in several films, including "You Got Served" (2004), "Somebody Help Me" (2007) and "Feel the Noise" (2007). In 2012, he participated in the fifth season of the TV show Dancing with the Stars.

He released his debut solo album O in 2005, it went Platinum and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. In 2006 his second album, 21, also debuted at #1 and went Gold, selling over 900,000 copies worldwide. In 2007 he collaborated with rapper Bow Wow and they released an album together entitled Face Off. Recently he announced that he had signed to producer Timbaland's Mosley Music Group and Lil Wayne's Young Money label, but he left both of these labels to eventually sign with EMI.
