The appointment to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Confederation of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein constitutes a special moment in my life, and this not only because with this my life has taken an almost unbelievable turn, but because for the first time I will have to serve the country differently, with a new motivation and energy, as a civil servant. I am facing a challenge that excites me like nothing else before, and that has already made me reconsider many things within myself, even the relationship with my country and my compatriots.
This feeling or my condition is not only related to the fact that I will have to serve my country as an Ambassador, but also to the fact that I will do this in Switzerland, in this country where the human species has made/extracted its best, giving the world an almost perfect model of governance, peace, stability, prosperity and coexistence. There is no nation on this planet that does not have something to learn from Switzerland.

"Memory Alive in arts and multimedia" in Skrapar
IDMC paid a visit to Skrapar. The documentary "Memory of a Country that Forgot to Forget" was screened at Kanione Hotel in the frame of Memory Alive project, following similar activities in other cities such as Tirana, Shkoder, Berat, and Gjirokaster.
Young people from Corovode and representatives of the Municipality of Skrapar attended the event. An opening speech was delivered by executive director of IDMC, Dr. Jonila Godole. For the next 30 minutes, the participants watched the film. Mr. Nuri Musabelliu told the young people of Corovode his family's experience with political persecution, whereas journalist Mustafa Nano helped them deepen their knowledge about the dictatorship. Interesting discussions between guests were moderated by Mr. Parid Teferiçi.
Corovoda youth admitted to having little interest in this part of the Albanian history. They also noted what they had been taught at school or through their parents and grandparents about it was not enough for a clear understanding of Albania's dictatorship. The
