Turney Duff is an American businessman, author, and former trader.
I was born in Cleveland in 1969 (which explains the tattoo of Chief Wahoo, the Indian's mascot, on my ankle), but moved to Kennebunk, Maine when I was only 7.

As the youngest of four children and the only boy with three perfectly behaved, straight A-student sisters, I quickly developed a knack for doing things differently. Being a B student with a 970 SAT I had to think creatively. Like convincing my junior English teacher to let me write a screenplay instead of a term paper or writing and directing a Brady Bunch horror movie for Spanish 3. And for extra credit a short story about being reincarnated into a twenty dollar bill, but it was always just a little bit different. Turney Duff was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Kennebunk, Maine. He returned to Ohio for college where earned a journalism degree at Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Turney began his Wall Street career as a sales assistant at Morgan Stanley in 1994. He moved on to The Galleon Group hedge fund in 1999 where he was a health care trader and Managing Director. In 2001, Turney became a Partner and the founding senior trader at Argus Partners, when it was spun off from Galleon. In 2007, Turney joined J.L. Berkowitz (Jim Cramer’s former firm) as Partner and senior trader, where he worked through 2009. Turney has written and executive produced two short movies, and under his rap name “Cleveland D”, was partly responsible for the infamous Galleon song, “On the Good Ship Galleon.” He currently lives in Long Island City. www.TurneyDuff.com.
