Ali Al huthaify علي الحذيفي
Ali Al huthaify, born Ali Ibn Aburrahmane Ibn Ali Ibn Ahmad Al huthaify in 1366 Hijri in Al Awamer, Saudi Arabia. His father was member of the Saudian Army.
In 1381 Hijri, Ali Al huthaify entered the Salafist School of Baljarchi and then enrolled in the Scientific Institute of the same time in 1383. After graduating in 1388, Ali huthaify entered the Sharia’s Faculty of Ryad. Fresh out, he was hired as teacher in the Scientific Institute of Baljarchi. Among the subjects he taught Tafsir, Tawhid, Nahw, Sarf, and khat. In parallel, he was leading prayers and giving lectures in the High Baljarchi Mosque.
Since 1397, Ali Alhuthaify worked in the Islamic University where he gave lectures in Tawhid and Fiqh in the Sharia Faculty.
Ali Alhodaifi was the imam of eminent Mosques of Saudi Arabia such as Qiba’ Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque in 1399. During Ramadan of 1401 he moved to the Holy Mosque of Jeddah and then went back to Madina, to the Prophet’s Mosque.

He is Ali bin Abdul Rehman bin Ali bin Ahmed Al Hudhaify has his roots from the Hudhaify tribe from Al Awamir which are from bani Khatha’m. The Awamirs dwell in northern Areedah south of Makkah by 360 kilometers. The Hudhaify family has been chosen as the leaders of Al Awamirs centuries ago and until present day remain so. Sheikh Ali Al Hudhaify was born 1366 in the village of Al Qarn Al Mustaqeem in the Awamir area into a religious family his father was the imam and khateeb of the saudi army.
He first took his education from the knowledgeable in his village and completed reading the Qur’an by reading at the hand of Sheikh Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Hudhaify Al Amry while memorized some part of it. He studied and memorized some different learning mutoon(poems)in the Sharee’ah sciences also in 1381h he attended Al Salafiyyah Al Ahliyyah school in Baljurashi and granted from it at the equivalency of middle school level. Ali Bin Abdur Rahman Al Hudhaify (born 22 May 1947) (Arabic; علي بن عبد الرحمن الحذيفي) is a SaudiImam and khateeb of the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and a former Imam of Quba Mosque. His style of reciting the Qur’an in a slow and deep tune is widely recognised.[1]
Life and career
In 1972, he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. In 1975, he received a master's degree in Islamic law from Al-Azhar University, and then he took his doctorate from the same university.[2]
In 1979, he became an imam of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi. In 1981, during the month of Ramadan, he was appointed as imam for the Tarawih prayers in Masjid al-Haram and then he went back to the Great Mosque of Medina where he continues to lead prayers. [3]
He briefly served as an imam and Khateeb of Quba Mosque in 1987.
